Share Viewing from Apple Vision Pro

How to share what you see on Vision Pro with your friends? Turn out Airplay works on Vision Pro just like it would on any Apple devices.

On Mac, iPhone, iPad, or AppleTV

1. Open System Settings
2. Navigate to General > AirDrop & Handoff
3. Turn on “AirPlay Receiver” and select whom to allow for. Optionally, you can also set up a password.
4. Continue next steps on Vision Pro
5. Complete the setup on Vision Pro (see: below)
6. Wait until prompted from AIRPLAY, select “Accept”
7. Now viewing live-stream from Vision Pro
8. Pro tip: You can video recording the screen here and save into a file for later editing/viewing.

On Vision Pro

1. Open Control Centre
2. From “View Mirroring” select the Mac you want to airply to. Note, both Mac and Vision Pro must be on the same Wi-Fi network and Wi-Fi network must support Apple Bonjour.
3. Pro tip: You can also video recording Vision Pro screen. However, this option has limitation that It does NOT allow recording while Airplay is active.
